Eggs

Our free-range chicken eggs come from hens that are allowed to roam freely outdoors, rather than being confined to cages or indoor spaces. These hens have access to natural sunlight, fresh air, and a more natural environment, which can lead to healthier and happier chickens. We like to think that our free-range eggs are of higher quality compared to eggs from caged hens, as the hens have the opportunity to forage for insects and plants, resulting in eggs with richer flavor and more vibrant yolks.

Chicken

Our chickens are raised in a natural and sustainable environment where they have access to open pasture, fresh air, and natural forage. Chickens are allowed to roam freely outdoors, peck at insects and plants, and engage in natural behaviors, which results in healthier and more flavorful meat compared to conventionally raised chickens. Pasture-raised chicken is known for its superior taste, texture, and nutritional value due to the chickens' natural diet and lifestyle.

Pork

Our Berkshire pigs are raised in a pasture-based environment. We utilize sustainable, rotational grazing practices to ensure good animal husbandry. Berkshire pigs are a heritage breed known for their marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor, making them highly sought after by chefs and consumers alike. When raised in a pasture-based system, pigs have access to open pasture where they can roam, root, and forage naturally, resulting in meat that is flavorful and of high quality. Our pigs feed on a healthy grass-based diet supplementing with locally produced grains, and are raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
